L'amour by Alephunky L'amour by Alephunky
If someone loves a flower, of which just one single blossom grows in all the millions and millions of stars, it is enough to make him happy just to look at the stars. He can say to himself, "Somewhere, my flower is there…" But if the sheep eats the flower, in one moment all his stars will be darkened… And you think that is not important! "

-Antoine de saint exupéry

I made this rose using polymer clay! :D
Obviously inspired by the little prince and beauty and the beast.

Sorry if this critique isn't too good, it's my first one.

This is amazingly beautiful, the background is blurred perfectly and the rose is almost too amazing to be hand-made. The image it gives me personally is as though the rose is growing from the book, showing that books, stories and fictitious escapes are absolutely beautiful and are being preserved while the rest of the world is moving on (the jar). For some reason I feel as though this was in Paris or New York.... But that may just be me.

I really hope this was of some help to you, but I honestly doubt it!! :)

This is a wonderful concept! I love how you have laid everything out in this picture. The bokeh in the lights in the background is quite playful! Another element that I think adds a lot is the reflection in the glass, this just takes this picture to a whole new level. i love the placement of everything and I think the whole bottom half is great. I think the only thing in this i would like to see more would be a slight light highlighting the top of the glass a bit more. It seems to get ever so slightly lost up there though really this is only a minor detail and does not detract from the image as a whole.

Excellent work!

A girl asked a guy if he thought she was pretty and
he said no.
She asked him if he would want to be with her forever and
he said no. She then asked him if she were to leave would he cry, and once
again he replied with a no.
She had heard enough. As she walked away, tears streaming down her face the boy grabbed her arm and said....
"You're not pretty, you're beautiful. I don't want to be with you forever. I NEED to be
with you forever. And I wouldn't cry if you walked away...I'd die"
♥♥ ~~THE END~~ ♥♥
Isn't that sweet? Tonight at midnight your
true love will realize they like you. Something good will happen to
you at 1:00-4:00pm tomorrow, it could be anywhere on IM or email,
outside of school, anywhere! Get ready for the biggest shock of your
life. If you break this chain letter you will be cursed with 10
relationship problems for the next ten years. If you post this to 15
pages in 15 minutes, you're safe.

Me gusta la foto y lo bien que expresa ese párrafo de El Principito, pero creo que esto daba para hacer el "antes de la oveja" y también el "despues de la oveja".

This is not even real flower. It could have been so much better if you took the picture of a real red rose from a terrace overlooking city lights, I initially thought you did.

what joy we may take from a single flower is feeble experience alone, the collaborative echo of senses, backlit by the mind's eye, translated by the idea that it was real, is real, and powered by the hope that we whall experience it again. We are indeed creatures of cycle, fumbling between the biological stress of inherant desires and the release of genuine connection to something else in the universe other than our own egos.

luv the picture and concept! :D

This looks so romantic! The first thought that came to mind is that it reminded me of Beauty and the Best. This is just so beautiful.

You can't even tell that the rose is fake. Unless you held the real thing close up, I guess. I honestly didn't know it was real until I read that you made it using polymer clay.

:giggle: In conclusion, I adore this. So much.
